How Do I Fix Overprocessed Hair?By Abby Gardner
The fact of the matter is that most people I know do some sort of processing to their hair. There are many of us who can barely remember our real hair color. And even if you don't do any sort of chemical straightening, the everyday use of a blow dryer can still wreak a wee bit of havoc on your hair.
As a beauty editor, I'm lucky enough to get to try out lots of conditioning treatments. While you can always ask your local salon about what they have to offer, I love to give myself a little at-home treatment on a Friday night in. Here are some of my favorites.
Neil George Pure Shot These little bottles are easy to store in the shower and are packed with Indian Gooseberry and a unique complex devoloped by the stylists from this Beverly Hills salon. Use a tiny bottle each day and you'll definitely start seeing a difference in the smoothness of your hair.
Fekkai Advanced Ultra Shea Mask This mask is literally like butter for your hair. It feels thick, rich and decadent. Plus, it makes me completely tangle-free.
Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Deep Conditioning Treatment I've been a Frizz Ease fan since my middle school days. This treatment is super affordable and works wonders on dry, over styled hair.
Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment Not only does this product make hair more manageable but it also helps keep the skin on your scalp healthy too. We always love a multi-tasker.
