Farewell, Vidal Sassoon
The beauty world lost a legend today with the death of Vidal Sasson, age 84. The iconic hairstylist began his career sweeping floors at a London salon, before going on to build his own hair empire. He’s credited with inventing the bob and giving Mia Farrow her famous pixie crop. Like his brand’s well-known catchphrase, “If you don’t look good, we don’t look good,” the groundbreaking Sassoon won’t be forgotten.Paramount Pictures/Photofest
