Dream a Little Dream
Our best dream goes a little something like this: Ryan Gosling, the ability to fly, a tropical beach, more Ryan Gosling.
Now wouldn't it be nice to have that dream—or some version of it—every night? Apparently, you can, thanks to the burgeoning science of lucid dreaming, which is based on the notion that, with the right training, you can control your dreams.
According to a recent article from
BBC News, an increasing number of individuals are dabbling in dream control, thanks in large part to a slew of new apps that help with the process. (The most popular, Dream: ON, had more than half a million downloads in six weeks.)
But experts are skeptical of the apps and how effective they really are. The ability to truly be present in dreams takes a lot of practice. Still, you know what they say: A girl can dream.
