Luxury cosmetics company Shiseido has just announced the launch of the world's most expensive beauty product, La Crème, which will sell for a whopping $13,225 a bottle (about four times the cost of gold per ounce). Created in honor of the 30th anniversary of Clé de Peau Beauté, Shiseido's high-end line, the cream will be packaged in a crystal-and-platinum bottle and limited to an edition of just three. It debuts on Sept. 21, so we'll have to wait till then to see if this product is truly worth its weight in gold.
