Courting Couture
ELLE has reported that Dolce & Gabbana is set to launch a couture line come fall, but the collection won't be unveiled at Paris' upcoming couture week. Instead, the Italian design duo will be hosting a small viewing for a select group of VIPs on July 9 in Taormina, Sicily. One reason for steering clear of France? Financial Times says it may be to avoid the strict rules of Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Yes, couture has its very own regulatory commission.Imaxtree.com
