Fashion Gold
Rumors are swirling that the London Olympic closing ceremonies will include, for the first time ever, a catwalk. New York magazine reported that British-born models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Lily Cole and Georgia May Jagger will strut their stuff to David Bowie's "Fashion" and "Rebel Rebel." While they'll be receiving their lowest paycheck ever, marked at only £1, the women will put fashion on the global stage.Ron Galella/WireImage

Freckled Flier
Amelia Earhart's attempt to circle the world at the equator ended with her mysterious disappearance in 1937. The stash included freckle-fading cream (Earhart famously disliked her spots) and skin balm. Because even when a woman’s traveling light, she still needs her beauty products.AP Photo/Copyright Tighar Used by Permission
