Curves Ahead
A new study published in academic journal Plos One confirms what we've long suspected: Looking at images of super-skinny models can make women more critical of their own bodies. The good news? When women were shown photos of plus-size models and then shown images of size 0 runway models, they were much less likely to find the skinny ones appealing. The study's authors are optimistic that increased exposure to more voluptuous women in the media could help curb an unhealthy obsession with thinness—and improve women's own body images.Stefan Gosatti/Getty Images

Just for Kicks
Our favorite fourth-grade tennies are continuing their high-fashion comeback: Keds is set to partner with Kate Spade in honor of the designer’s 20th anniversary. According to our friends at Refinery29, the eight shoe styles—including a variety of preppy prints and slightly pointed shapes—will arrive in Kate Spade stores this February and Nordstrom stores in March. That should put a little prep in your step come spring.Courtesy of Refinery29/Keds
