By Abby Gardner Just when we thought we'd run out of new incarnations of the braid, Jaime King shows up with this cool version that goes towards her neck. I love flipping a trend on its end and will definitely be trying this out over the weekend.

Has there been another television star in recent years more associated with her hair than Keri Russell? Networks literally put clauses in actresses' contracts after she chopped hers during Felicity. And while we miss her long curls, these soft waves are pretty perfect, too.

I fully admit to wanting to be CJ Cregg, Allison Janney's West Wing character. I never paid much attention to her hair. But I'm noticing now and I love the rich color and the thick bangs — simple and gorgeous.

Anne Hathaway has always seemed like a bookish sort ... though maybe not quite this bookish. Has she forsaken her glam hair for good? Probably not. This look that's more grad student than Globe nominee is actually for a role.

Supermodel Carol Alt was once called The Face by Life Magazine in the '80s. And while her face still looks phenomenal at 50, I love that she's still rocking long hair and very of-the-moment bangs. Trends are not reserved for the youth alone.

Charisma Carpenter will forever be Cordelia Chase in my mind. (Do you miss Buffy as much as I do?) I envied her hair every episode of that show ... just as I envy this old Hollywood throwback style she wore on the red carpet this week.

I'm guessing Erin Andrews learned a few hair tricks (like these big bouncy curls) during her stint on Dancing With the Stars. Because something tells me they aren't regular sideline conversation during the NFL season.

Eva Mendes looks quite the pretty princess at the premiere of The Other Guys. Her high ponytail is super chic and the added touch of the jeweled fastener makes it all the more special.
