Hair Highlights

By Abby Gardner There is no head of hair I covet more than Gisele's. The perfectly blended highlights, the effortlessly tousled waves, that length ... I want it all. And I wouldn't mind having that body either. Just sayin'.

Victoria Beckham may have everything, but even she cannot grow out a bob in mere weeks. Though those extensions are a spot-on match for her actual hair. Perhaps she's trying out a new style for the upcoming New York Fashion Week?

Cameron Diaz looks casual and cool while enjoying some evening tennis at the US Open with one of her best friends, genius makeup artist Gucci Westman. I love Cammy's messy pony and Gucci's light tips.

Also enjoying some tennis at Flushing Meadow were avid fans (and friends of Roger Federer), Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. They both look rocker cool as always: Gavin with his slicked-back ponytail and Gwen with that messy front braid.

Sofia Coppola spends much of her time in France, and her easygoing bob reflects that simple French sexiness. J'adore. J'adore. J'adore.

Look who's all grown up! That would be Dakota's little sister, Elle Fanning. And how gorgeous, yet totally age-appropriate, is her long, straight blond hair? Those Fanning parents are sure doing something right with their talented girls.

Betty Suarez certainly never wore her hair this way, so it's nice to see America Ferrera switch things up from the role that made her a household name. The silky smooth waves frame her face in such a lovely way.

Michelle Williams has come a long way since her days as Jen Lindley on Dawson's Creek. At this point I would call her a bona fide style icon. I can only imagine how many girls went platinum and pixie this summer after seeing her gorgeous 'do.

There is no doubt that Catherine Deneuve is still one of the sexiest French women of all time. This slightly bouffant style with a deep side part is both regal and hip at the same time.

We are getting excited to head to New York Fashion Week in a couple days — and be sure to check back in a couple weeks for our big wrap-up story. One of the things we love most: seeing models like Karlie Kloss working different hairstyles on every runway.

Leann Rimes' beachy waves are actually a perfect style to wear all year long. Plus, they can be dressed up and dressed down. Oh, how we love a versatile style!

I am kind of obsessed with Paz Vega's over-the-ears low bun look at the Venice Film Festival. And I'm pretty sure we could all recreate it in front of the bathroom mirror ... which makes me love it even more.
