Hair Highlights

By Abby Gardner Willow Smith (daughter of Will and Jada) is on the verge of mega-pop stardom with her song Whip My Hair. Seriously, try getting it out of your head once it's there. This is just one of the many coifs she's shown off during her press-filled week.

Blake Lively brought her two redhead sisters out for the Scream 2010 Awards. What good hair genes that family has. (And, of course, you may recognize big sis Robin on the left from the genius '80s film Teen Witch. Top that!)

Seeing Diane Keaton with perfectly groomed and smooth hair just doesn't seem right to me. I love that she's always a little mussed and quirkily frazzled like she is here.

Kristen Stewart seems to be migrating back to her darker color — perhaps in preparation for stepping back on the set as Bella for the Breaking Dawn movies. But I hope she considers going back to this reddish hue; it's gorgeous on her.

Kate Hudson's hair at the ELLE event sparked much Internet debate this week. Is it too messy? Does she take bedhead to the extreme? I'll let you be the judge.

I love Kelly Osbourne and her sometimes-kooky styling choices. But this one has me a wee bit confused. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall as she and her hairdresser talked about their inspiration for this look. Perhaps then I'd get it.

To me, Neve Campbell looks just as she did when she played Julia Salinger on the much-beloved Party of Five. Just with better bangs.

Hilary Swank showed up to the Women in Hollywood event looking every bit the glam movie star. Those pin curls are gorgeous. Maybe it's time for another part in a period piece.
