How to Get Wrinkle-Free Without Going Under the Knife
No matter how much sunscreen, moisturizer and eye cream you've slathered on over the years, there's no getting around the fact that wrinkles happen. And, frankly, while we appreciate a non-Botoxed eye crinkle, we also rather enjoy looking younger and brighter than our ages might suggest. Here are a few tips we found incredibly useful. —Glo
—Fake satin skin by glossing over imperfections with a semimatte foundation like Chanel Mat Lumière says makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who has prepped January Jones for the red carpet. Goodwin applies makeup with a beauty sponge and dusts the center of the face with translucent powder for a natural finish.
—Soften rough, flaky patches on the face or body by dabbing on olive oil. "Olive oil soothes dry skin and absorbs easily to nourish deep beneath the surface," says Jody Rogers, owner of Spa Velia in San Diego. "Rich in vitamin E, it also helps restore and retain skin's youthfulness."

—A face-lift from a bottle? Yes! A topical cream with neuropeptides (which aid in collagen production), combined with DMAE (an anti-inflammatory), help with blood circulation and cell metabolism, visibly increase skin's radiance and firmness, and decrease the appearance of wrinkles within minutes, says Nicholas Perricone, MD, FACN.
—Don't forget about your lips. To erase telltale fine lines, makeup artist Julie Harris suggests dabbing your pout with Aquaphor: "I use it on Anne Hathaway because it's great for healing dryness and also works as a lipstick base."

—Makeup artist Darac suggests using a face highlighter with "nanospheric optics" shaped as hearts, clovers, and stars. "When light hits them, it bounces off in different directions and tricks the eye, softening the appearance of lines and wrinkles for a more luminous look," he says.
