We went straight to editors, makeup artists and founders of our favorite beauty brands to find out which products they're most excited about for 2014. From an acne-fighting spot treatment that's actually gentle to the perfect nude lip gloss for every skin tone, here are ten newly launched—or soon-to-be-launched—game-changers you'll love.

"CoverGirl's skin perfector is the first product of its kind in the mass market that mattifies without powder," says CoverGirl celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine. Launched last December, the product is more like a balm, and can be used as a primer before applying foundation or worn over makeup to control shine.

"Whenever GlamGlow comes out with something new, I have to try it," says Cosmopolitan senior beauty editor Marta Topran. "Their latest mask, Thirstymud, is full of hyaluronic acid, a moisturizer that melts into skin. Clay particles in the formula help lock in the moisturizing ingredients leaving your skin soft and glowing. It's a lifesaver for those random dry patches we all get in the winter."

"The antioxidant resveratrol has been around for a while, and it does a great job scavenging free radicals," says Marie Claire executive beauty editor Jennifer Goldstein. "The problem is that it's difficult to formulate in topical products because it doesn't dissolve well in water and it's also unstable when exposed to UV light. But SkinCeuticals has found a way to stabilize the ingredient, and it's now in the brand's Resveratrol BE serum, which comes out this year."

"Nude lips are always the perfect complement when you're focusing on your eyes or when you want a natural look," says celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff, whose makeup palettes are known for a wide range of shades. "I created the Perfect Nudes lip collection to give a variety of nude gloss shades that will work with any look and skin tone, which is something that's been difficult to find in the past."

"I created my NutraSphere Detox Collection to help protect my clients' skin from further environmental damage," says aesthetician Sonya Dakar of her newest Sonya Dakar offering, which arrived last October. "The collection is all-natural, and I specifically incorporated plant stem cells to help skin purge damaging toxins. The products are very delicate as well, so all skin types are able to use them."

In March, Murad will launch its first-ever product containing acne-fighting benzoyl peroxide. "We found a way to incorporate this ingredient without compromising the health and integrity of the skin," says Murad founder, dermatologist Howard Murad. "We use a delivery system called hydrophase, along with micronized benzoyl peroxide, which allows the ingredient to penetrate the skin and provide powerful spot treatment without the irritation that is commonly associated with it."

"Wella's Oil Reflections has so many uses. It's a lightweight oil that doesn't weigh hair down at all," says celebrity colorist Jennifer J., an ambassador for the brand. "When used before blow-drying, it makes hair feel silky and smooth, and surprisingly gives it a lot of volume and bounce. When used on curly hair, it defines curls without an oily feel or weight."
