Blended Beauty

In the living room of Elaine Griffin and Michael McGarry’s apartment in an 1890s Harlem brownstone, the Victorian oak mantel and tile fireplace surround are original, and the antique owl andirons were found at a Paris flea market; the Louis XVI–style sofa is dressed with pillows from Gracious Home and HomeGoods, the custom-made sofa by the window is upholstered in a Kravet velvet, and the small cocktail table is by Niermann Weeks.

In the master bedroom, a vintage Indian tapestry from Vajra Tibet hangs above a bed dressed in linens by Signoria and Matouk; the coverlet is an antique wedding sari, and the chest of drawers and mirror are vintage.
