Hump Day Happy Hour
This Hanukkah-Themed Cocktail Will Keep Your Oil Burning
By Julie FishmanTonight marks the first night of Hanukkah, the gift-giving holiday that celebrates the rededication of the Holy Temple, the miracle behind some undying oil and the invention of the potato latke. Wash down the golden-fried goodies with a glass of “The Golden Boy,” created for Glo by award-winning chef Jose Andres.
Sparkling Cava and a special pinch of gold dust guarantee this cocktail will shine all eight nights of the Festival of Lights. We suggest using the drink to rehydrate between intense games of family dreidel and to recover from obligatory conversations with relatives.
And if the holiday season has burned not only the Hanukkah candles but also your bank account, drink a few glasses of “The Golden Boy” when you check your next bank statement.
