Hump Day Happy Hour
A Zany Drink for Dr. Seuss's Birthday
By Julie FishmanOn this day in 1904, Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known by his pen name, Dr. Seuss, was born. His 44 children's books changed the children's lit scene and influenced the imaginations of countless kids worldwide, including many who now work at Glo.
We'd like to celebrate the King of Rhyme with a cocktail from Duane Fernandez at D Bar in New York that's inspired by one of his most famous books. Russian Standard Vodka, Crème de Menthe and Lucid Absinthe team up with fresh Jalapeño syrup and an egg white to create “Green Eggs & Ham,” a drink as whimsical as Dr. Seuss himself.
Enjoy this clever concoction in a box with a fox or, more practically, in your home with some friends.
