Get Down To Business
Usually one person in the relationship is the money person, often the partner with a greater interest in finances. But since money impacts every part of your relationship, you should both share the responsibility of managing the finances. So divvy up the load by dividing finances into the categories you should discuss: What vacations are you going to take? How often do you want to go out to eat every week? Then split up these categories and brainstorm ideas for how you can afford the life you want. Then, set priorities and goals. This will keep you both engaged and working as a team.
