Hottest Vampires and Werewolves

Before he garnered critical acclaim for his roles in movies like Frost/Nixon, Frank Langella wooed the ladies with his widow's peak and flashy cape in the 1979 version of Dracula.

We thought our experience with puberty was awkward — but Michael J. Fox's character in Teen Wolf turned into a werewolf during his big change. (His general cuteness, and the fact that he became a top-notch basketball player, overrode his newfound wolf-ness.)

Okay, so he may not be a real werewolf, but Hugh Jackman's Wolverine certainly belongs on this list, if only because of those bulging biceps. (And, not gonna lie, we kind of love that wild hair.)

Tom Cruise + Brad Pitt = vampire hotness overload in the film adaptation of Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. We'd totally submit to questioning from one (or both!) of these men.

In Lost Boys, Arizona-born Michael unknowingly gets sucked into a California town's vampire gang. We wish Jason Patric circa 1987 would grip our cheeks and stare into our eyes as he does here with Jami Gertz, who played Star in the film.

Oh Benecio, you never cease to amaze us with your acting chops and general gorgeousness. Even when playing a hairy beast in The Wolfman, Mr. Del Toro still made us swoon.

Luckily, we have The Vampire Diaries to quell our Buffy craving. We totally dig the whole bad-guy-trying-to-be-good thing Stefan Salvatore (played by actor Paul Wesley) has going on in this show.

Sookie and Bill are hands-down our fave small-screen human-vampire pairing. (Who knew there'd be so many to choose from?!) Not only are we charmed by Anna Paquin's adorable Southern accent, but her real-life boyfriend Stephen Moyer is quite the blood-thirsty looker.

But, despite the vampire-themed shows and movies preceding it, and all the ones sure to come, the Twilight series wins our hearts. Most specifically, Edward Cullen wins our hearts. (Though, we're big fans of Bella Swan, too.)

What would Twilight be without its often-shirtless werewolf? The Edward-Bella-Jacob love triangle may be the juiciest we've seen — and, if you've read Eclipse, you know it only gets better. (And now you can watch the drama unfold on the big screen!)
